What is your minimum order quantity?

For spices, herbal powders and dehydrated lines we start at 1 MT, with best pricing at full-container loads of 18–26 MT. Essential oils start at 25 kg. Fresh vegetables begin at 500 kg for air freight and one 20' reefer for sea. Trial LCL orders are welcome for first-time buyers.

Question 2

Do you send samples before an order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We courier 100–250 g samples of spices and herbals, and 30–50 ml of essential oils. Samples are free; courier cost is billed and then adjusted against your first commercial invoice.

Which payment terms do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Irrevocable LC at sight through a prime bank, 30% advance with balance against scanned bill of lading, or 100% advance by telegraphic transfer with a discount. CAD terms are available for repeat buyers after three shipments.

Which Incoterms do you quote?

Accepted Answer

FOB, CFR, CIF and CIP are standard. DDP and DAP can be arranged for selected destinations through our freight partners.

Question 5

How is quality tested before shipment?

Accepted Answer

Every lot is tested at accredited third-party laboratories for moisture, foreign matter, pesticide residue, aflatoxin, heavy metals and microbial load, plus volatile oil for spices and GC-MS profiling for essential oils. The COA travels with the shipment, and pre-shipment inspection photographs are shared before the container is sealed.

Can you supply organic or certification-backed material?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Organic (NPOP/NOP/EU), and buyer-nominated audits can be arranged for planned volumes. Certified material requires longer lead time and is booked at the start of the harvest season.

Do you offer private-label and custom packing?

Accepted Answer

We pack under your brand in retail pouches, jars and cartons for spices, herbal powders and oils, printed to your artwork and destination labelling rules. Minimums apply per SKU.

Question 8

How long does production and dispatch take?

Accepted Answer

Spices and herbals ship 10–15 days from confirmed order, essential oils 12–18 days, and fresh vegetables within 3–5 days of harvest booking. Peak-season and certified lots can add a week.

What happens if a consignment does not match the sample?

Accepted Answer

Send photographs and the destination lab report within seven days of arrival. Against retained counter-samples we resolve it by credit note, replacement in the next shipment or freight compensation — settled before your next order ships.

Question 11

Which Indian ports and airports do you load from?

Accepted Answer

Sea consignments load out of Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra, Chennai, Tuticorin and Cochin. Air consignments are uplifted from Chennai, Cochin, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. We pick the gateway closest to the growing belt so the produce spends the least possible time on the road.

What does a full container hold, and can I mix products?

A 20' GP carries roughly 18–20 MT of bagged spices, and a 40' HC about 24–26 MT depending on bulk density. Mixed containers are welcome: we regularly load multi-SKU containers combining spices, herbal powders and dehydrated lines, with each SKU separately marked, palletised and reflected on the packing list.

Question 13

How is freight quoted, and who books the shipping line?

On FOB we deliver to the port and you nominate the carrier. On CFR/CIF we book with our contracted lines and pass the rate through with the freight component shown separately on the quotation. Ocean freight is quoted valid for 15 days because of bunker and peak-season surcharges; air freight is quoted at the rate current on the booking date.

How do you handle labelling and destination compliance?

We label to the destination's rules — EU 1169/2011 nutrition and allergen panels, US FDA and FSVP requirements with an importer of record, GCC and Saudi FDA Arabic labelling, and country-of-origin marking. Shipper details, lot code, best-before, net weight and barcodes are printed to your approved artwork before packing begins.

What insurance cover is provided?

On CIF and CIP terms we cover the consignment at 110% of invoice value under an all-risk marine policy including war and strikes clauses. On FOB and CFR you arrange your own cover; we share the sailing details early enough for you to declare the shipment.

Question 16

Can you hold stock or run a monthly supply contract?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For annual programmes we book raw material at the start of the harvest, warehouse it in our name and release monthly against your call-offs at a fixed price. This is the most reliable way to insulate yourself from seasonal price spikes in turmeric, chilli, cumin and mint oil.

What are the shelf lives and storage conditions?

Whole spices keep 18–24 months and ground spices 12–18 months below 25°C in dry storage. Herbal powders keep 24 months in sealed, lined drums. Essential oils keep 24–36 months in filled, sealed, light-protected containers. Fresh vegetables vary from 5 days for leafy herbs to 90 days for cured onion and yam.
